Jakes van Strijp

Director

Jakes joined the firm in 1989 as a Candidate Attorney. A former Regional Court Prosecutor in the Department of Justice, he became a partner upon the completion of his articles and admission as an Attorney. Jakes is the head of our Labour Law Department and holds an Advance Diploma in Labour Law and a Diploma in Human Rights. In addition to his expertise in Labour Law, Jakes specializes in Commercial Law, Estate Administration and Civil Litigation.

Hardus Blignaut

Director

Hardus joined the firm in 1997 as a Candidate Attorney. Upon completion of his articles and admission as an Attorney, he left the firm to work in the United Kingdom. Hardus returned to the firm as a Professional Assistant during 2003 and became a director during 2004. Hardus is the head of our Conveyancing Department and is a qualified Conveyancer and Notary. In addition to his expertise in Conveyancing, Hardus specializes in Commercial Contracts and Notarial Law.
